Trust His Heart
Written by: Babbie Mason and Eddie Carswell

All things work for our good
though sometimes we can't see how they could
struggles that break our hearts in two
sometimes blinds us to the truth

Our Father knows what's best for us
His ways are not our own
So when your pathway grows dim, and you just can't see Him
Remember you're never alone

God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart

He sees the master plan
And He holds our future in His hands
So don't live as those who have no hope
All our hope is found in Him

We see the present clearly
But He sees the first and the last
And like a tapestry He's weaving you and me to someday be just like Him

God is too wise to be mistaken
God is too good to be unkind
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand
Trust His heart

He alone is faithful and true
He alone knows what is best for you
So when you don't understand
When you don't see His plan
When you can't trace His hand trust His heart

This is my favorite song so far today. The vocals are beautiful and the lyrics are fantastic. I admit I did not watch the video. I dont' like video's as I think they take away from the beauty of the music. Also, they remind me of T.V. which almost always puts me to sleeep.

Michele, thanks for sharing these very encouraging portion from God's Words. Psalm 73:26 is one of my favorite Bible verses. And I love this song. Glad you posted it. It is encouraging to remember that God loves us and He is in control of all things, lovingly working all things for His glory and our good. When we can't trace His hands, we can trust His heart! Thanks for sharing with us. I am so glad to join TSMSS this week. Take care and have a blessed weekends!

That song really touched me. Especially since I'm going through some things now. It was a great reminder thanks for sharing. Also I tagged you for a reflection question on what you learned from your Mom.

I so needed this song today! Thank you for sharing it. I love Babbie Mason. I'm actually going to see her in concert (again) in December. She is wonderful, and this is a great song!
I enjoyed the video about Chronic Illness week too. People don't see Spencer's epilepsy or believe he is sick either unless they actually see him have a seizure. And my father in law has Chrohn's Disease. We know all about chronic illness in our family.
Have a blessed week! Thanks for sharing.
