He Is Always With Me
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4
Do you ever feel like all your troubles, pain, and trials are surrounding you that you almost feel paralyzed with fear and worry? Have felt like you are all alone to carry the load or walk through the valley of the shadow of death? I know I have.
When I saw this picture at first I was amused; I still am to a degree. Let’s face it, what cat in their right mind would walk past a row of German Sheppard’s so nonchalantly unless it had a death wish. As I looked at the picture a little longer and contemplated the verse I thought what a great analogy for how we are to walk.
If we believe that the Lord, who is our Shepherd, our Caregiver, is with us at all times, then when we are going through those deep valley’s we can lift our head and walk confidently without fear or worry knowing that He is holding us in His tender loving arms carrying us through our pain, troubles, trials and sorrow.
What a comfort to know that we are never alone; even in our darkest moments.
Heavenly Father, thank you for your tender mercy as I walk through the deepest and darkest moments of my life. Thank you for the calm assurance that you are always with me and will never forsake me to pass through the Valley alone. In Jesus Precious Name, Amen
