Why is it that our children seem to inherit our bad traits rather than our good traits?
As some of you know, my daughter Heather has been suffering from what we have recently found out are autoimmune hives. She becomes covered head to toe with blistery large red hives that cause severe pain all over. She says that she can only shower with cold water because anything else feels like hot coals on her body! She has been running a low grade fever, pain and swelling in joints, and extreme exhaustion. She went to the specialist Friday and he believes she has Lupus. He wants her to get a biopsy of her hives to confirm. I pray it is not Lupus! I know how difficult this disease can become. Please pray for Heather and the family at this time. She has been suffering since April and it has continued to worsen.
We know there is a reason for all things and God is in control. Sometimes it's just hard to understand, but then it is not for us to understand but to have faith and place our loved ones in His tender loving hands.

Oh precious sister Michele, you and your family absolutely have my fervent prayers. My heart is hurting for you. Our sweet, darling babies. Yes, we always want for them all the good things we do not have...but NEVER the "bad" things we do have.
Yet, as you said, with God, all things are good b/c He is good. I am so grateful for that...even when we don't understand.

Oh how awful. My oldest suffers from chronic ideopathic hives. The doctor says that means that the doctor is an idiot and the patient pathetic. He took three different meds to control them for quite awhile but is down to just Zyrtec daily. They are miserable. BUT we were told they can burn themselves out in the majority of cases. He has been dealing with them two years now. Praying for your daughter.

Blessings Michele...I will be praying for Heather & you! And also praying that all those that say they will pray, DO...for there is power in prayer support! I know how troubled your heart must be. I was not aware of your daughter until today. My adopted daughter went a year before they finally diagnosed her with Lupus. That was back in the 90s. She never had hives, but since it was in her blood, they felt it may be leukemia. Neither was my choice. It was a constant battle. She is almost 30 and has it pretty much under control & her meds are now minimal. But she went through alot. She has 2 children and Our Lord has been very good to her. I share this so you know that
I understand your heart.

Lord, I ask that You not just BE with Heather, Michele & family but I ask that You send Your Healer to their beautiful home! May You strengthen Heather's immune system!
May You take away the pain & suffering from these health issues.
May You send wise counsel & diagnosis! We ask that You uphold them with Your victorious right hand. Hold out Your hand to them!

Jesus is bigger than whatever the diagnosis is... and He holds Heather gently in his arms...
