Oh, I Forgot To Add Something!

Remember I told you I have not done any cooking in almost three years? When we moved into our apartment six months ago we used our oven to store the dog food! I didn't forget to take out the dog food before I baked the turkey (that comment is for my sister, Marsha)... no... but I didn't know how to turn on the oven! Our new apartment has a fairly new oven... digital... I'm looking everywhere for a knob to turn the oven on... no knob! I had to call my daughter Heather to have her tell me how to work the oven but she was not answering her phone (don't know why not... I mean all she was doing was moving!). Well, my grandson Travis was over helping me... and you guessed it... my 14 grandson who loves to cook and bake showed me how to work my oven!! I told you... I have not done any cooking! Oh, and the dog food is back in the oven! It's off to Heather's tonight for dinner!

Thought you could use a chuckle!

That was cute!
I cook...love to...but I was afraid the oven in our camper would not be up to handling the cooking I like to do during the holidays. But since we moved in I have done some testing...and it will do!
Now I do store some pans in my oven but they come out every few days...so that food can take its turn in the oven.
I think it is a very popular place all over blogdom from the comments made. ;)
I just wanted you to know that awhile back I left a prayer request about my husband needing a job....well he got one and he starts tomorrow. Thank you for praying. :)
