Sanctity for Human Life Week

To participate in Mission 4 Mondays please click here

Today's post is from my sister, Marsha, at Marsha's Musings:

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you..." Jeremiah 1:5

Each little Masterpiece is a magnificent reflection of His glory. That means, I was created to be a reflection of His glory. Do I live my life in such a way that I am a clear reflection of His glory to others? I pray I am. Though sometimes I falter, it is my desire to be like a full moon, one who has no light of my own, but merely serves to reflect the light of the Son.

Sunday, January 18-Sunday, January 25 is Sanctity of Human Life Week, a week set aside to raise awareness to the world about the beauty of all human life, from the unborn in their mother's womb, to the aged and infirmed. All life is sacred.

One of my favorite quotes is by Mother Teresa..."It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish."

Yesterday as we were watching a commercial trying to raise money for abused animals.....my heart hurt. Our celebrities so willingly try to raise money for everything but the most important thing in Gods eyes...human life.

Thank you Michele! I was hoping that Marsha was going to link to Mission 4 Monday when Sanctity of Life week...I even copied her post last week to link just in case, she didn't so more would go there and hopefully contribute to bless their ministry.

What struck me most were your beautiful words. The scriptures I knew but I love your analogy of being a MOON!!! Me, too...I wanna be...that is so beautiful of a concept that will last forever in my visual mind & heart when I look at the moon...how I want to reflect His glory. First time I have heard
this..and you should put quote by Michele!!! Worthy and wonderful cause for all of us! I love also that you extended this to include life from beginning to end.

Michele,

Great post. I didn't know you and Marsha were sisters.

It has been such hit/miss regarding visiting other blogs lately. More miss than hit. Thanks for your visits and comments.

Hi Michelle, A great post by your sister. I love when she said "Though sometimes I falter, it is my desire to be like a full moon, one who has no light of my own, but merely serves to reflect the light of the Son." I really really like that analogy. I will be writing you on your email. Thank you for my prayer card. Thank you for your encouragement. Thank you for praying for me and the family. Love, Cathryn

Hi Michele, it is so nice to be in a blog that glorifies the name of God. And it is so nice to meet a new blogger friend and sister in christ. :)
