My Word is "Fearless"

Growing up this was not me at all! I was afraid of my own shadow! As I became older and grew in Christ.... maybe.... In some ways this could be me.... My family has said that my fearlessness is sometimes.... stupidity! ha ha! Like several months ago when Heather and I were leaving Wal Mart and a lady yelled, "Help! Help!"... She was about 20 feet in front of us and a man had a gun and was trying to take her purse from her... Heather, squatted down behind our car... I walked towards the person and yelled to people.. "Get down, the man has a gun!" The man ran off with the purse... Heather got up and said, "Mom, what were you thinking!" I guess I wasn't thinking... All I wanted to do was warn others that a many had a gun and make sure everyone was safe... I didn't think about me.... Was that fearless or stupid.... BOTH... I think... At least my family thinks so! I stopped another robbery at a clothing store about four years ago too. I was suspicious of these too young teen boys in the store. This was a plus size store and they came in around closing time. Something just told me to tell the store clerks that something was wrong. They picked up the phone and called the police. The boys ran out. Later the clerk called me to tell me the police found them in another store. They had been stealing in stores all around and they had planned on robbing them, but they told the police that some "old lady with a cane stopped them!" That was me! I got a discount the next time I was there for stopping the robbery! I don't really see these things as fearless... but being a concerned citizen.
Anyway.... just a few more silly facts about ME!!

Goodness gracious - you are a bonafide ~ true ~ blue ~ hero!!!!!!! We use the word "whoop" here in Kentucky and this account is fitting for its use ~ you can "whoop" those bad guys with your cane. Do you always have to walk with a cane Michele? I didn't know. Blessings friend, Cathryn
