What Are You Learning

During this time I will share a study series from Women of Faith: Receiving God's Love, that my grandson gave me for Christmas.

This I Know

Christ’s Love is Greater than anyone can ever know, But I pray that you will be able to know that love.” Ephesians 3:19

We can be completely confident in the fact that God loves us because He tells us so in His Word. (John 13:34 “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I loved you, you should love each other.”; Romans 8:37; Revelation 1:5) Just to name a few verses!

Knowing means confidence, assurance, and certainty. In 1 Corinthians 13:12, “Now we see things imperfect as in a poor mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God knows me now. “We may not know it all but we know all that we NEED to know right now. One thing is for sure with complete confidence… God loves us!

Here are some things we can Know – with Confidence:

  • God is able. 2 Timothy 1:12

  • No fear in death. 2 Corinthians 5:8

  • He keeps all his promises. Phil 1:6

  • Know the unknowable. Ephesians 3:19

In Romans 8:38, Paul takes a look at the evidence of Christ’s love in his life and says with great confidence, “I am persuaded”! Jesus’ love may be far beyond my human comprehension, but it’s existence is undeniable!

Walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma” (Ephesians 5:2). Wherever life takes us, we can know that we’re in the love of Christ. We walk in His great love.

Dear heaven Father, I cannot fully comprehend just how much you truly do love me. But just like the children’s song says, “Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tell me so…..” May I accept your great love with that child-like faith and may my life reflect that great love to others. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

So glad that Jesus loves me...even when I am unlovable. He never stops loving me. That is hard to comprehend most days.

The Love of God...what a great song you have playing...It is one of my favorites...You know it was found on the wall of a mental hospital...To truly know the depth of His love...it is unfathomable!
