Friday Funnies

For other Friday Funnies please click here

Last night I was frantically running either towards something or away from something; I’m not quite sure when all of a sudden I fell into this deep dark pit. I tried to scream but nothing would come out. Next thing I knew I felt this strange cold thing start to strangle me and I tried to wrestle with it to get it off of me.

Then I heard my husband’s voice saying, “Michele, what are you doing on the floor?” I tried to speak, but nothing would come out, this thing, I think a snake was strangling me!

Again, my husband calmly said, “Michele, take the mask off – what are you doing on the floor?” I stopped for a second, I looked around and noticed I was wrapped around ….a snake? No, it was the hose to my bi-pap machine! I finally realized I am not in a deep dark pit… but on the floor beside our bed!

That’s right people… I was apparently having a very active dream; so much so that I fell out of bed!

I then unraveled the hose from around my neck and as I took off my lovely mask, from the depth of my toes a loud belch came out of my mouth! I started to laugh, as I proceeded to try to get on my old arthritic knees and try to lift myself to my feet using my arms to pull myself up; a loud sputter sound like a car back-firing came from the other end of my body!

I sat on the edge of the bed, took a deep breath and my dear sweet husband said, “I think your gas shot you out of bed!”

Well that did it! We both started to laugh uncontrollably that we were crying!

Oh, and I found another food I cannot eat due to my IBS…. Feta cheese!

Go ahead and laugh…

Oh, and other than a few bumps, bruises and a sore ego... I'm okay!

This is how I have to sleep every night so I don't stop breathing... (it's not a picture of me). It's so lovely isn't it? It's attached to a machine that blows constant air up your nose like you are in a wind tunnel! Try sneezing in that! It's not easy!! LOL... Try having hurricane force winds blowing up your nose all night and see if you dont' get any gas! LOL....

So glad you are OK.
Have a less eventful night tonight. :)

Dear Diary,
Today my sister lost her marbles! Is there nothing she will not share with her millions of adoring bloggy friends? Oh whatever shall I do? Shall I laugh at her or with her? Oh the decisions I must make for the sake of family relationships.
BBAAWWAAAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!
ROTFL!!!!!!!!
Now excuse me while I go for tissue to wipe the tears.

LOL... You got my giggling!!
My husband also uses a his machine at night. Sometimes he turns a certain way and his mask is a litte off his face, and I'm up because I can hear the noise so I have to get him to put it on right lol. I need to read this post to him lol.

Oh, I bet that was scary. My hubby had a full mask. It did not help. Only made it louder when he quit breathing, So we sent it back.
I have to admit the gas part was funny.

Hi, Michelle:
Now you're the kind of gal I wouldn't mind rooming with on a retreat!!!!! With your antics and my snoring, we'd make a great pair. I'm so glad you did not hurt yourself. You're funny!

Have a wonderful day!
