"Are any among you suffering? They should keep on praying about it. And those who have reason to be thankful should continually sing praises to the Lord. " James 5:13
I do not know about you, but sometimes I feel so unworthy to be thankful and sing praises to the Lord when there are so many others who are suffering. On my blog I have an area for prayer requests and you will see the list is extremely long and of course the list doesn’t even scratch the surface of those in need of prayer. But as the verse above tells us, we are to pray for those who are suffering and also be thankful, continually singing praises to our Lord. So today, as with every day, I will pray and I will give thanks as well.
I am thankful that the Lord gave my husband, grandson and I traveling mercies for our wonderful spring break vacation last week.
I am thankful that we had such beautiful weather while on our vacation. The desert was full of spring blossoms, fresh air, gentle breezes and vibrant sunshine that brought warmth to our weary bodies and refreshed our souls.
I am thankful our two dogs and two cats were well behaved on the trip showing us that we can take them with us on our trip back east this summer to visit family.
I am thankful that even though our motor home is 25 years old, it still runs well and provides a home away from home for my family. My prayer is that we will be able to travel in it this summer.
I am thankful that I was able to walk around the camp grounds and Old Tucson. It was the first time in 5 or 6 years that I did not have to continually use the wheelchair while I was out – what a glorious praise!
I am thankful that even though I did get the “lupus hives/rash” from all the sun, I did not get ill – another praise!
I am thankful that the Lord provided for us to travel and spend quality time with our grandson without any interruptions of computer or TV.
Dear heavenly Father, I am so unworthy of your many blessings you continually bestow upon me and my family. Your love and tender mercy brings comfort and hope to my weary body and soul. Thank you Father for all you are and all you bring to my life. Bless those who are reading this right now, bring healing, comfort, finances, peace, jobs, contentment, joy, love, and most of all salvation to those who do not know You as their personal Savior. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

Hello, You have such a sweet list. I'm glad everything was so enjoyable on your trip. I need to remember to show Caleb the cactus pictures!
Great list! God is good-all the time! I was telling my husband how thankful I was to be able to get on the treadmill and walk 12 minutes! Two years ago my legs were in such bad shape I couldn't handle 5 minutes.
All the Glory to God!
Blessings Michele!
