After seven LOOOONNNGGG days we are finally at our campground destination just 14 miles from my mom's home. The weather is so beautiful! I had forgotten how green everything is in the late spring early summer. The farms are so beautiful too! We even saw some deer today in some of the fields as well. Flowers in bloom, young cows and sheep with their mothers. Everywhere I turn I feel like I am in a picture postcard!
My mom looks wonderful, especially for 86 years old. She met us at our campground, and then took us out to dinner at Country Fare. So great to have some healthy food for a change. The past six days have been a miss more than a hit on my healthier me lifestyle change. Oh, and for my family, neither of us cried! We were just happy to see each other!
I am sure glad we are finally here, I was beginning to go bonkers! LOL!! We will stay her for several weeks enjoying my mom, family, friend, and the weather!

Now I find that hard to believe! NO tears?! Maybe she just cries when I come because it's "Oh no, she's here!" lol
No, the past few times she's been stressed and just glad to have the reinforcements come in and help.
