I am officially over the hill now! As of May 12th we have a grandson who is in HIGH SCHOOL! Can you believe that? Travis is already talking about driving!! Now you know why I color my hair!
We are so proud of Travis and Heather (our daughter). They made it through home school this year without killing each other! LOL So the journey continues…..
I am so thankful we have had the opportunity to share in Travis’s upbringing. We were there when he was born, I sang and rocked him to sleep; we read books together; the bible; prayed together; “sugar time” together; laugh together; play games together; talk with one another; cook and bake together; I took him to pre-school and school; I was his class grandma; PTA president for his school (first grandma to do so); but best of all…… I had the awesome privilege to lead my grandson to Christ!!
Thank you dear Lord for this precious young man you so graciously gave to our family to bring up in the way he should go! Continue to grant us wisdom and understanding as the years will become more challenging for Travis as well as for his parents as he spreads his wings to continue to find out what Christ desires of him. May Travis stay pure in thought and in deed. May you bring to his life only those who will build him up and not tare him down. We pray he will always desire to serve you whatever endeavor you lead him to do. May we have many more years together and when we are gone, may he always think of us with love and pride as we have for him right now! Thank you Lord for TRAVIS!

Such a WONDERFUL post Mom!!!!!
What a crowning glory your grandson is! Such a sweet blessing! Thanks for sharing him with us!
Ok Ok, now you can pass the tissue box. Very sweet and heartwarming song.
Hi Michele,
What beautiful and heartfelt words about your grandson. He surely is a blessing. You look so young Michele and you are beautiful! You just can't be old enough to have a grandson in high school. With that said, I'm with Heather, pass the tissue box on please.
Love you,
Alleluiabelle
Congrats on this special milestone! I'm glad you could be there with him.
Awesome post, Michele! Congrats!!!
I'm just getting there with prayer time with Nolie. At 19 months we still haven't mastered keeping our eyes closed and being still but he loudly proclaims, "May-men!" at the end nap and bedtime our prayers.
Happy Thankful Thursday to you.
If you still take your grandkids on vacation with you...you are not over the hill. You are a fun grandma.
Hope you are feeling better today.
Hugs,
Mimi
