I talked with Michele a little bit ago. They are on their way home from the hospital and then heading to bed. They are exhausted!
Here's this evening's status in bullet form:
~ 2nd dialysis has lowered his toxicity level to below a 1 which is good. It was 3.8 - almost deadly. They are praying they don't climb back up, which they can do because lithium is stored and released from fat cells and brain cells.
~ They had to remove the dialysis port in his groin because it was still bleeding, heavily at times. Hopefully they won't have to do dialysis again. He has a rather large hole in his groin because of this. Pray he stays infection free! (MRSA loves this type of wound.)
~ The ultrasound of his kidneys and abdomen show he has kidney stones, that's why he has blood in his urine and so much pain in the kidneys.
~ He is still having seizures/convulsions.
~ He's still in a great deal of pain, but they are limiting his pain meds because out of concern for the toxicity levels. He has some meds, just minimal.
~ He is unable to stand due to the bleeding in his groin. Please pray for no blood clots.
~ They are treating the rattling in his chest effectively.
~ He still has a catheter in - ouch!
His dad is staying with him in the hospital tonight and everyone else is going home to get some sleep.
I ask that you all continue to pray for his complete healing and no lasting side effects.
Thank you for your prayers.
Sweet baby, even in years teenage and beyond they are always babes. Let him rest in Daddy's arms and trust God for Gods design.
Still so much to pray for but so glad to see that his toxicity level had gone down.
My prayers are being said for Travis and complete healing throughout his body this night. I'm also praying for you Michele, your daughter and family...praying for God's grace to cover all of you, for tender mercies, peace despite this storm, comfort, rest and even joy in the midst of it all in Jesus precious name I pray. Amen.
Love you so much.
Big Hugs & Prayers,
