It's That Time Of Year Again

Well it’s that time of the year again; the dreaded time for those of us who wait last minute to write checks to both state and federal government for the taxes we owe. With each stroke of the pen we think about what else we could do with this money. We even sit and complain that the government doesn’t deserve our money. Some may even say, ‘What has the government done for me lately’.
To continue with this post, I'm over at Laced With Grace today. Come on over

You can definitely tell it's tax time! :) These are such encouraging Bible verses to help us with our attitude as we file our taxes OR an extension (in case the Sandwich Generation issues of caring for elderly parents and grandchildren have kept us too busy to get them done yet :)) Thanks for a great reminder! :)

Things like this make the Bible more "up to date" for people who have a hard time placing in the nowadays...thanks for sharing!

WE got money back from both this year and it was a blessing! We have never had to pay, but I am sure those days are coming.

Great post, Michele! Yes, we all must render what belongs to our governments as well as unto our God. Thank God that we live in a country where we still have the freedom of speech, work, and choice of worshiping the One True God. I thank God that I enjoy that too in Singapore. Thanks for this reminder :)

Take care and have a blessed week!

Warm regards,
Nancie

Oh dear now even WFW is getting in the act to remind me.
I am about 10 yrs behind..they owe me so it is not a total drama, but there were years when all I did was sleep, so am on the last account now, entering them all into an accounting program. I could have done it the easy way and just thrown it at the accountant but I decided I needed to be accountable and know where I was spending my money.....
Unfortunately I am surrounded by a stash of quilting fabric which is a very eloquent reminder of where some of it has gone. I know this is the thing that is my task at hand and I am getting better but it will be such a glorious weight off my neck when it is done.
