Thankful Thursday

“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”  Colossians 3:15 -17

I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family.  My daughter and her family live two trailers down from us.  Whenever I need something all I have to do is call and one of them will come over without any questions or complaints to assist me.  Thank you Lord for blessing me with such a caring and loving family.

The past four weeks we have had our heater and hot water heater break down.  Each time I wonder how we are going to pay for these bills, and as always the Lord so graciously provides for all our needs.  Thank you Lord for being my Provider.

“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19

I am also thankful for the many blessings I have received these past few years since I have been blogging.  Your prayers and encouraging words have kept me going whenever I felt like giving up blogging because I thought I had nothing to contribute. Thank you all.

What are you thankful for today?

Hi Michele,

What a blessing to have such a caring family and a loving Heavenly Father who provides your needs!

At the end of this month, my husband's unemployment ends... and this has been a year of great testing and faith 'stretching'! But,our NEEDS are being met; that, along with God's love and the love of our family is TRUE riches!

And I'm so glad that you did not give up your blogging; I would never have met you if you had!

Blessings to you and your family,
Marsha
