There is a beautiful song that Don Moen wrote that has always touched my heart. It is a song that I have quoted on many occasions to encourage others who are suffering, struggling with certain issues or even doubting that God is true to His Word. The song is, God Will Make A Way. Below is the chorus I would quote:
God will make a way,
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way.
Where there seems to be no way
He works in ways we cannot see
He will make a way for me
He will be my guide
Hold me closely to His side
With love and strength for each new day
He will make a way, He will make a way.
As my husband ministers to the church we are attending, he has chosen this song as the “theme song” for the month of February to go along with his sermons. By his second sermon the Lord had convicted me and challenged me if I truly believe the message of this song. For the past six months I have been struggling with a decision I had made. I felt that God was not moving quickly enough and that I truly needed this life saving solution to my problem; so I took matters into my own hands and “bent” the law to take care of the much needed ongoing problem. Even though “my” solution was “taking care of” the problem, I continued to struggle within my heart as to the “legalities” of “my” solution.

God must be trying to tell me He is in control of my life. This is the second verse that has said very much the same. Thank you, Michele, and thank you God.
