“If God sends us stony paths, He provides strong
shoes.” Corrie Ten Boom
Today a dear friend will have surgery to remove a tumor on
her upper spine along with removal of lymph nodes. This is a very extensive surgery which can
leave her paralyzed. For at least a
month or more this young wife and mother will be in a wheelchair.
Then on the 22nd of June my husband will have
surgery on his lower spine to remove a “tumor/lesion”. The surgeon has said he has never seen
anything like this “lesion” so he is anxious to get “in there” to see what
exactly is going on in Jim’s spine.
If you too are walking through stony paths, my prayer is
that you too will rest assured in His all sufficient Grace.
“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My
strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather
boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)
